Airport departure taxes, fuel and other surcharges including service tips, meals which are not specified in the itinerary, cost of passport and visas, excess baggage charges also not included.

A $600 deposit is payable at the time of reservation.
Balance of tour fare is payable 6 weeks prior to departure.
Costs are expressed in Australian dollars based on Foreign exchange rates current at the time of booking.
These are subject to alteration should there be any fluctuation in the exchange rate. Discover Japan prices may be altered with or without notice at any time.

Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. All travel documents are non transferable. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder. Some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies& may cancel the booking. You must collect all travel documents from us prior to travel. Contact your Discover Japan consultant to confirm collection availability.

It is the client’s responsibility to confirm the departure time with the airline.

Discover Japan will be happy to provide details of Travel Insurance Services, including a quote. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for all overseers travel.

Discover Japan will not be held responsible, or liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience, omission or acts being negligent or otherwise, committed by the operators or airlines, coach lines, hotel or attractions used in connection with the tours.

Australian passport holders do not require a visa for holiday stays in Japan up to 90 days.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports visas and re-entry permits for holidays longer than 90 days. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.
All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry. Discover Japan can obtain visas for you if you wish and fees will apply for this service.

New rules for the carriage of liquids, aerosols and gels on flights into and out of Australia came into effect on 31st March 2007. Please ensure you are familiar with these new rules by reading the SECURITY GUIDE for CARRY ON BAGGAGE at INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS.

Please ensure that you meet the health requirements for your travel destinations – it is the clients responsibility to carry all necessary vaccination documentation.

Certain taxes are mandatory in some countries. There may be an additional local tax charged at some countries. All taxes are subject to change without notice.

Cancelled bookings will incur charges and may be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced.
Fees will apply where a booking is changed or tickets are re-issued.
We are unable to provide a refund to you until we receive funds from the relevant supplier.
Cancellation later than 4 weeks prior to departure incurs a charge of 10% of total fee.
Cancellation later than 2 weeks prior to departure incurs a charge of 50% of total fee.
Cancellation later than 1 week prior to departure incurs a charge of 80% of total fee.
Cancellation later than 48 hours to departure incurs a charge of 100% of total fee.

A cancellation after ticket is issued incurs fee of $1,100
・No refunds can be made after travel commences.

Each amendment to the booking requested after the initial reservation is made will incur a fee of $50.
